The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

It's funny how things turn out. Ever had one of those days.. or two days, where you do absolutely nothing contructive other than eating meatballs, getting scolded in Ikea and watching 9 dead gay guys?

Yeah, Thursday was that day.

Let's see, our journey in doing nothing began when we all decided to SKIP CLASS. Deeming meatballs more important, the gals and I (the GALS and I... yes I love my life) stopped my place for a little... ahem... action.

Miko showed them tons of action, they all liked each other, it was all good. Looking at the pic though, it's hard to remember that Miko's a girl. Most girls dun stare.

After some walking which is entirely not my fault, we took the tram to Ikea... finally.

The meatballs... were... good. 15 wonderfully meatish meatballs from Sweden. Other than the fact of Am telling me with glowering eyes how I fucked up her napkin (i pity a certain N**k), making me give her another one... mine, the meal was nice and happy and uneventful.

Look at that, triangles and meatballs and a guy and a girl. Smells of porn a mile away.

Ikea... and a picture spree... aint gonna show all pictures. But lookee here...

Truth be told, I am an Ikea knight. Yes, surprising as it may sound, I am an Ikea knight. One that is bound by duty and oath and love to protect the beautiful Pink Ikea Princess or PIP as our order calls her. It is hard, tiring job of little glory or incentive to me... I should have taken Makin Money the Farmer Way rather than Protecting Princess for Beginners: How to outrun a dragon.

This is the tunnel to our order's fortress and that is my ass. Look how firm and infinitely sexy it is.

The PIP likes inviting frens over. Note, it was here we were nicely scolded by an Ikea staff member. We weren't supposed to take pictures. The man was menacing as he was smelly (I call everybody smelly) and he looked threatening to PIP. So, being the knight I was, I cowered in fear and told the man that it was all her fault. No I didn't do that, that was a lie, but I did run away... and that's all that matters.

All in all, a fun time, a waste of time resulting in making Shan not go to class, slacking at Am's place and watching 9 DEAD GAY GUYS. Which is a hilarious show, if twisted and disturbing and gay.

Does my head look big in this?

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been pretty busy finishing up an assignment and yes, it's done. Yippee! It's not the best work in the world... but I'm happy with it and that's all that matters.

Just finished Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, the second film to the 1st one almost 20 years ago. And it's probably the most beautiful anime you'll probably see. Seriously, the animation and graphics are nothing short of awe-inspiring. It's, simply put, drop dead gorgeous. The movie is about living dolls and how they are likened to humans. Why do dolls desire to be human? Do they even have that desire in the first place? What is life and the meaning of the universe in the 1st place? Stuff like that. The directing is very arty, making the whole film noir-ish and nostalgic for some reason. The music haunting, at times, and just plain freaky during others. But the pace of the show is slow and well, boring. It's too much of a try-hard in the philosophical field, without much of a climax as well.

But it's so beautiful.

Also finished Full Metal Alchemist, 51 episodes of strife, adventures, alchemy, death and tears. An intricate plot that leads to a sacrifice so heartbreaking, it will make u cry. Unless ur made of stone, alchemy can do that too. I recommend it.

Finally, fren just said he wants to use one of my stories as a theme for his recital. What the..?

It's a bad sign when you are watching porn and you recognize the song playing in the background as Girl from Ipanema. It's not any better when you distinctly hear Jobim's voice singing it.

Am trying to get some work done... it's not easy... I get distracted too easily. But at least I have sort of a structure. Pretty soon, it will be done. Pretty soon.
