The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

Thursday, May 11, 2006

For those in love with certainty, seduction is no territory in which to stray. Every smile and word lead to a dozen if not twelve thousand possibilities. Remarks that in normal life (that is, life without love) can be taken at face value now exhaust dictionaries with their possible meanings. And for the seducer, the doubts reduce themselves to a central question, faced with the trepidation if a criminal awaiting sentence: Does s/he, or does s/he not, desire me?

GIVE ME MY MONEY BIATCH!!!!

Hi ho it's me again, unfortunately, resurrected from the semi-dead to bring you good fortune and tons of laughter in this episode of... "WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO THIS WEEK?"

Well my peeves and parakeets, I have been drowning in a singular commitment called Full Time Work, which I've experienced before and really, apart from earning the many coins that make up my rice bowl (Zhuo4 Wo3 De4 Fan4 Wan3), is really damn sucky. Tiring is too. Though I cannot think of a way to better spend my time. Needless to say, I've been a trifle busy.

Anywaes, here's my weekend fun. Categorized for your fapping pleasure:

DAVE CHAPELLE'S BLOCK PARTY

I'll write an actual review when I can, but for now, here's my Sat night. Went to work til 5, popped down to the city to find Am and pass her present... finally. Chatted, had KFC, and met up with members of the gang to catch comedian Dave Chapelle's documentary on his hiphop concert. And the verdict? Good music, good vibes and damn good jokes inbound. Dave Chappelle owns timing, and when he has the stage, the guffaws cannot stop. The movie was very enjoyable, though we were sitting 3 rows from the front and the camera was jerky. Both Taka and Stef got nauseous.
After movie was supper at Nocturnos, then Derek's place for bumming. Met Taka's beau btw. Hope I didn't scare him off.
Night was dota at kenneth's place... and b4 I knew it, it was 4 and my eyes were swollen.

SUNDAY, GUILD WARS AND MORE MOVIES

Sunday morn...uh.. afternoon came by and I finally awoke. Got up, prepared and met Vale for lunch. Was good to see him again, even if he did feel me up.... again. I feel so violated... I'm scared I might like it.... noooo......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Bought the boy Guild Wars Factions for his grad present... pple now owe me money.... and took a look at it. It really is quite damn beautiful and I'm actually itching to play it. Of course there's.... Suikoden V... and Colossus... and Star Wars... and LOTR... and my story-writing... and work... and... studying later on........

but I can squeeze some mmorpgs in

I can sell my soul it seems

Evening popped by YL's place to watch Mirrormask. Glad they enjoyed it. I certainly did for the second time. Then we watched The Producers and that one makes me laugh again and again and again. Can't stop the tears. The outtakes are hilarious. Really. Buy the DVD. You wun regret it.
Night... more DOTA. Sleep.

Monday with the Uni and the Stocktake

Monday rolled by, got up at 10. And went to Uni to get some documents signed. Approached Student's Admin and found out that my name being in the system poses some surprise to the staff. Not that any of us were complaining. Things still got done.
Went for lunch, then trained to the Glen where work awaited me in the form of stocktaking from 4 to 1045. 6 days of work this week my pets. I better be paid over-bloody-time.

So that's my weekend. Say thanks to me homies out there. Love and peace and power to the people and all that. Yeah. Uh. Uh. MFlo.

It's 1150pm... I need to work at 830am. Do the math. I'm gonna bed.
