The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

Wow, it's been a while since I blogged. 3 days, not bad. I can resist it after all ^_^ It's almost 9am now and no, I have not just woken up, more like I have not slept yet. I tell you, I'm gonna kill myself over this one day. Seriously!
Anywaes, might as well make use of my time. Had dinner with one of my dad's frens when he and his family came down to melb for the hols. Had dinner in Crown, in a posh restaurant where I can never afford to eat unless I hit jackpot. I had a nice steak (I talk a lot about food it seems) and a cheesecake... was sooo full! Then I took a nice walk home. That's like a 30 min walk, singing songs all the way...in the slight drizzle God decided to shower on me that fine night. It was okay, I was having a grand time belting out christmas carols and such. Went over to Jordon's place just for a visit, he lent out his PS2 that @#%%^!!! What can I play at his place now? I was pretty tired when I was over, so decided to catch some zzzzs over there. Had a hour's nap I think. When I got home, it was close to 12, but I realised I had visitors, well, frens over. They juz finished exams and were, as usual, relaxing. So I relaxed with them. Watched anime with one of them til 8am. Called Now and Then, Here and There. Really rocks, trust me on this one.
Also had a short chat with another fren on icq. She's studying in NUS, and also an editor for the campus magazine. Tough job for a small lady. A small but tough lady! Perfect for a tough job ^_^ She's cool, 1 yr my junior, was in choir. Quite ok frens back then. Hope I still am now. Anywaes, was reading her blog and realised how sweet and wonderful she was! Very! Argh, missing home already, but I can't focus on Sg, I staying here in Oz, this is my place now. Might as well get used to it. Funny though, I dunno how I can adapt to a strange place like this, without good frens. I dun have many u know. Frens like carolyn, denise, the guys from swiss cottage, corn, and the besteest one, YY. It's becoz of them PEP is PEP. Well, if they are reading, my heart goes out to them. With a huge thank you too.
Argh.. I'm tearing. Ok, gotta stop now. I'm still a man k?? That was a manly single tear out of eye thing. I'm not sobbing! heh. ok yar, wanna leave you with a line from one of my favourite romance manga, Maison Ikkouku.

"The woman I love? She's vindicative, easily jealous, short-tempered, unforgiving and cold at times. But when she smiles...the world is mine."

I love early mornings. Perfect time to sleep. I got up at 4pm and slept at 9.30am the erm... 'night' before. I'm certain that ain't healthy. A couple of friends popped over my place yesterday night to relax. They just finished their exams you see. So we played MGS2 (Metal Gear Solid 2), determined to finish the game that night. However, finishing the game and watching cutscenes are 2 totally things. I swear, there are more watching than playing in that game. And the game's plot is just sooo... sooo.... Matrix!!! with thousands of plot-twists, I am totally confused! And the hour long cinematics....... sighz. It's a good game, I ain't saying it's bad... it's just.... tediously long. Argh. They're coming back to finish the game. Last boss now. Argh.
