The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

I might tell you about my weekend. Which was pretty good I must say. It had the right ingredients. On Friday night, had a great night listening to my sister's school's Jazz Cabaret. And my sister has matured so much as a performer. She wasn't great as an MC, but man, on the keyboard and the trumpet, she sizzled. We were very impressed.

Got up at 445am later to watch soccer. Then sleep. Then work which was rather... fun. Between work, I traipsed over to the city where we had the Big Freeze.

This is the Big Freeze.

According to other groups though, that was shoddily done. And I agree. Lacked total coolness. Still, was fun. They blocked a tram. The start of a revolution pple. Need to get pics from Steph and Connie.

Hung out with Bean on Sunday which was fun, did nothing except walk around and visit pple sometimes.

And... Monday, well, I ran errands. Checked out venues for bdays, cut my hair, asked about getting my camera fixed, got a 350gig portable HD and went to see Celebrity Singing Bee get filmed.

Now that was awesome fun. The MC was great in getting us worked up for the show and the show was quite cool as well. Tons of singing and giggling and laughing and singing. Got to hear the singer of "Run to Paradise" sing and that was mighty awesome. And Rob Milnes was there. Singing songs wrong. Ahh... bloopers, always fun.

Fantastic song.
