It's been a while since I've blogged. An apology once again and ur sentiments are duly noted. So what's been up.
Let's see.... Monday.... nuttin.
Tuesday... nuttin. Played Tekken 5. Sigh, doesnt really grip me that game... not really good.
Wednesday, work, and working is HARD. My God, was so bz. Some lady came in and bought more than a thousand dollars worth of books. A thousand bucks. I want budgets like that. I think I impressed her with my children's book knowledge. I rock.
Went off to Derek's place only to find him not at home. And his fone was off. So I called other frens, only to have them not answer me. Alone and dejected... I trudged off to the State Library, where loving couples doted on each other on the lawn, and little kids played catch by Saint George's statue.
Ah life.
Called Vale and he answered yay! So I trudged to his place, where his mom graciously offered me dinner and that was that. Bummed there til Candz got home and I crashed at her place. I like Candz. She funny.
Thursday and it's comp quote day. Got kenny to intro me his fren who sold comps cheap. So got a quote for me and it's looking good. Not as expensive as I thought. May just get him to start building this week or next. A comp. IMAGINE THAT!!!!!
And then it's off to Vale's concert. Which blew me away with its originality, pompousness (compliment), and superb performances. The girl who sang my song had me entranced the whole time. Oh man. Almost shat myself when she went for those high notes. Pple shouldn't be able to sing so high. It's against nature.
All in all, it was a wonderful performance. And I will be sad when Vale leaves. We'll lose a talent and I'll lose an outlet of where my creativity can flow. Dammit.
Just watched Cold Mountain and it was good. Very life-like performances and the music's fantastic. When old American tunes strive to be haunting, oh they are haunting. May wanna take a look at that soundtrack.
