ugh, am quite tired today, I know not why. Perhaps work. Yes, work might be a relevant answer. Was interesting today... especially when you have the manager and assistant manager who both have just finished a 3 day training course. They are back. And they are motivated. Which kinda spells bad news for me. Im not a very motivated guy. I do my job, complete my duty with a certain amount of zest and professionalism, and wrap it up. Uh... not today. Today EePin, you're to make conversation, sell them something, reinforce their ideas.

So it's down to this - me having to leave my sheltered counter in favor of the deep unknown which is customers. And Im not even supposed to simply greet them. I can't say "Hi, how are you." No. I have to figure a unique phrase that will sound genuine to them. As if my "How, how are you?" or "Can I help you there?" is not sincere enough. I'm really asking how you are. I'm really asking if I can help. But no. It's all in the wording. We have to put on an air of sincerity. We have to show customers we care.
So we don't care. But we have to show we care.
But I do care. I just can't show it well.
So if I cared and showed that I cared... the universe goes into null relativity and we all die.
