The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

Well, seems that I can kill pple on the road... literally... just not under goverment allowance. Sigh. It's sad you know, especially when the tester tells you that there weren't any problems... til that. Only one word can describe that feeling I had then... SIAN. Yes, sian, that word with so much Singaporean/Malaysian flavour. Of course, you'll have to say it right, with the correct nasal quality that so marks the meaning of the word. Long-drawn and awful.. that's how SIAAAAAAN should be.

Watched the opening sessions of the Melbourne International Animation Festival. I really recommend a gander, worth a least those ten bucks. More than 8 films for 10 bucks should be sufficiently worth it right? Ok fine, it's 10 SHORT films... but still.

And I can play World of Warcraft! Hopefully I won't end up a hermit. Don't want to be a hermit. They sorta smell.

And it begins once more. An inverse rate of proportion, the less working hours I get, the more complaints I receive... in the form of 'advice'. Pretty heart-wrenching if you ask me, sickening if you ask somebody else.

Watched a couple of movies. Triple actually. Madagascar on my sis's comp. Funny, cute... childrenish. Just my age group :)
Doesnt feel as try hard as Shark's Tale, the jokes dun seem to keep coming. Nice pace actually... juz felt short and a little unfulfilled.
Wes Anderson's Life Aquatic was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed that one. Bill Murray was really good, showing why he's considered one of Hollywood's finest. The show was quirky and fun, very weird but then, so was the Royal Tenaubums.

Finally, caught Kingdom of Heaven. Not great. Muslims were cool. Poor Orlando Bloom, he's stuck in this role now. Poor...poor... him.
