Watched Mona Lisa Smile today with Nabs in favour of The Passion of the Christ (why
The Christ?). Anywaes, wasn't a bad show, had some good concepts within about feminism and such. Wasn't particularly very good either though. Liked the ending... not the running out of cinema part.
Which got me to thinking. Left and right. Think about every political event you've ever known. The world is divided into the government and the people. The government's voice is the baddie (right), against the so-called peoples' voice (left). I start thinking, why personify these themes like that. Just because one is in opposition to conformity, doesn't make him good. There is a reason why people conform. Perhaps... just perhaps, it's because it makes sense? Shock n horror.. we follow rules cause they make sense. Wow. Revelation. And the leftists scoff and scorn us for being blind. We are not blind. Just choosing the better way.
Think about it. A peaceful neighbourhood made by policemen arresting drunks and hooligans. Somebody says this is against the rights of the common man, why can't he drink piss and kill anybody he pleases? Where is the good in that?
Of course, we aren't doddering fools, sheep, cows that go baa (they dun u noe), we know what rules we like and dun like. And we'll voice them. We dun need some organization who believes that they speak for us. That's no difference from the government. We just pursue our own happiness. We dun want people telling us how to be happy. Never.
Tmw, why democracy never works.
Nabz... we go watch Glass Menaforgotspelling ok? And this one... Kiss Them All Soundly. Wanna watch!!!!!
