The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

The saga has ended. The epic has come to a close. THE LORD OF THE RINGS has ended and boy has it ended. Even with the reading the book, the show Much slower paced than the 2nd action fest, this one still retains the trademark battle scenes involving mammoths, thousands of orcs and Liv Tyler! It's fabulous, and not much more can really be said, other than how Aragorn shouldn't really command troops cause he's not very good tactically. Hobbits kick ass btw. Yes they do. This show is actually inspiring me to do some writing. Imagine that! And maybe I shall! Just maybe ;)

5 stars pple. 5 stars.

Spoilers anybody?

Wow.... I'm so tired. And busy. Been going out early, coming back late, going out early, coming back late... this is gonna kill me. Had a fruitful couple of days. Met a couple of high school frens. They're cool pple, as crazy as me, crazier maybe. Heh, funny how such frens dun keep in contact with you and vice-versa, and then when you return, they pick u up from where u left off.
I like frens.

For some reason, I'm not liking Singapore very much. I mean, it's home and everything, frens all there, family, Burger King. But, I dun like Sg. This kiasuism and "Dog eat dog" thinking is just too much for me.

A woman tried preventing the MRT doors from closing just to squeeze into the train. I mean, there's another train in 5 minutes, couldnt she bloody wait instead of being STUPID?

Is there such a thing as caring anymore? Selflessness? Basic courtesy?

Being gulliable especially with donations is not a very good thing.

The fellowship. The laughter. The wonder. The food. The people. Late night jazz. Ikaw. Smiles, twinkles. Wishing for more time and more people. Songs that make the blood rush and the spirit whole again. People that just bring out the best in you.
I can't really find the words to describe something like this. Just this, for all the people who were there, who weren't, who sang, who didn't and those I share experiences with and those I've missed from the long days away from home.

Thank you.

and a merry christmas wun hurt too rite? ;)

Whoa, entertainment overload. Watched 3 shows consequtively <--- bad spelling. So, here are the reviews!

Scary Movie 3. Is. Not. Scary. Rather, it's bloody funny. Go watch it. Best waste of 1.5 hours in a dark, smelly theatre with bad seats.
Result: 7/10 Hilarious. With a lot of stars.

Last Exile. I've been watching it for the past few weeks and it hsa blown me away in the beginning and sometimes in the middle of the series. It's about flying ships and the search for the sky. Or something like that. It's great though, has a nice ending, rather tight, if you can understand wat's goin on. I sure didn't. It's full of plot holes but as I said, I like how it turns out.
Result? 8.5/10 Beautiful graphics, intriguing plot, aeroplanes!!!!

Infernal Affairs 2. The 1st one blew me away with good imagery, excellent ethnic music, superb acting and most importantly, a fast-paced, immersive storyline. The 2nd one is a prequel, without Tony Leung or Andy Lau. However, most of the pple are kept. The main characters are experienced actors. Now I dun like prequels. They are usually crap. Read: CRAP (Star Wars, Silence of the lambs).
But this was surprising good. Great plot, with a sadder, darker undertone in the whole story. A little confusing but the gang politics works itself out. A smart film pple. May change HK movie industry. As long as there are not that many sequels.
Result? 8.5/10 Smart film, good acting.

This is PEP signing off. Now pay me money.
