I hereby declare once again, my loyalty and subsequent infatuation with the movie/film industry and endeavour to renew ties with all forms of moving images once again. Short animated clips, full-length spectaculars, anime movies that rock... yes, I shall watch them again.

Caught Zatoichi today. Been wanting to watch that for ages and finally, at long last, the dvd is out! And the verdict? Good samurai action. Can be slow, but the fights and tension is worth it. And the humour is pretty gripping too.

Went with Candz to see a preview of short animated films in conjuction with an Animated Film Festival that's in town. Very cool stuff. Many things can be seen in a short film rahter than dragged out in a long one. It's an experience that's hard to beat. And I get to see Candz again! That's a plus!

juz something im thinking of...

Currently listening to 'Somewhere over the Rainbow', probably one of the most loved themes of all time. It speaks of a different world, where dreams 'really do come true'. Wishes are great things. Everybody wishes. From the most wrinkled-filled soul to the youngest infant, we all wish. And the things we wish: Life to be better, world peace, fame and fortune, love etc etc etc. There's really no end to this desire. Such desire is not a bad thing, as long as the selfishness doesnt harm others, as long as things change for the better... yes, wishes help. They contain the most important element... hope. Wishes bring about hope and that's a good thing. We all need a little hope now and then amidst dark times.

Caught the flu bug. Tried valiantly to push it back, but alas, the bug proved too strong for my immune system to defend against and a running nose is the end result. Also watched a korean flick yesterday, which was pretty interesting, until the last 30 minutes. Do koreans know their drama or wat? They totally enjoy DRAGGING a crying scene for so long... to get you to try. I hate it when shows try too hard. Detracts from what they planned on doing in the first place. I actually dunno what Im talking about anymore so I leave you with this...

Damn, I think I'm coming down with something. Damn you BREA!!! Stupid cough/flu thingy.

On other news, pretty tired from work. Been really bz the past few days with all these stock needing clearing. Sales make pple scary. $5 notebooks down to $1, and pple go INSANE. They buy everything! EVERYTHING! And they want more.... I dun even sell books anymore, I sell stationary. Brrrrr.....

Watched Episode 3 again. With family this time... and the show felt worse. I shouldnt watch it anymore. Never again :)

And that is a good thing. If George Lucas ever did another Stars Wars movie, I would go and SLAP him. With a glove. Take that.
