The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

This is late cause I was desperately studying for a test... but....

HAPPY BDAY MANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!

"She's a beaut, we all know that!" The Age and every bloody newspaper in the world!

if, beauty, intelligence, cuteness and the definite chic come in a package, it would be called Pang Ee Pin, but Amanda aint that far off ;)

Happy bday babe, you aint THAT old. Striperella says so.

On other news, Shan dedicated a bit of her blog to good ole me. I love that girl. A mother-of-pearl delight, an ecletic mix of passion, humour and pure spunkiness, simply... wonderful.

"5 out of 5 stars!" The Washington Post

Summer came to peek at us today. A whopping 32 degrees good people, nice and sweltering. I love summer, the God of Tanktops, Spaghetti Straps and Miniskirts. Who could ask for more? Maybe a little cooler wind thanks very much.

Had a test today. Let's just say it could have gone better... so much... better. It wasn't hard, no, it was pretty easy.. IF U STUDIED FOR IT.
I found it... hard.

And I found my bday present. Bone... the entire BONE, in a paperback. Eighty bucks.. .thanks frens. Well, will thank them when they buy it.. cant wait!!!!

Watch Shaun of the Dead. Tis good.

The End.

I am in thrall of gorgeous gorgeous music. Ask me for them. You won't regret it... im serious. People say I have weird taste as my tastes tend towards the exotic, ethnic and just plain weird. For a song to get my attention, it must be epic, or poignant, but not overly-done like a dunkin donut. No, it has to be unique in its own way.

And there's nothing like dinner with relatives to put the future into perspective. The world's moving on. Perhaps I have to too.

Bad alliteration aside... you know what I mean.

I just wanna be loved

fuck. i shouldnt stand next to goddesses. brings out the oil globules on my nose.

Beauty is within us

O mother dear
Look what you've done
To your forlorn and once beloved son
Why was I born at all?
O mother dear
I'm such a freak
A mutant man, a woman underneath
Why was I born at all?

It's you I blame for all the shame
This anguish and this aching
The mirror turned against the wall
Myself despised, forsaken
*You say, "Beauty is within us, your mother knows"
"There's a beauty that's within us, just like a rose"
You say, "Beauty is within us, so let it grow"
But it's grown so dark and ugly

O mother dear
I curse you so
For breathing life into your wretched son
Why were you born at all?
O mother dear
I love you so
O please forgive this anger in my soul
Without you I'm alone

It's me who's been eternally damned
Trapped inside this cage, a ruined man
All damaged and depraved

O mother dear
This misery
Has settled like a stain upon my skin
-a vast unspoken sin

And my mistake is much too late
But your mistake was trusting
That out of grief, a goodness comes
And love comes out of lusting

You say, "Beauty is within us, your mother knows"
"There's a beauty that's within us, just like a rose"
You say, "Beauty is within us, so let it grow"
But it's grown so dark and ugly

You say, "Beauty is within us, your mother knows"
"There's a beauty that's within us, just like a rose"
You say, "Beauty is within us, so let it grow"
But it's grown so dark I can not see you anymore

"O beauty is within us, mother knows"
"O beauty is within us, like a rose"
"O beauty is within us, let it grow"
O mother dear, let me out of here!

Now is that angst or wat. Tune's superb too. And tasting meat after 6 days... is... fab. Back to the routine. The vegetable God looks after us still.
