The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

I hate essays. They waste time! Seriously, what do they test? My writing skills? I want to write stories, not pieces of paper with crap info. My head can't take the pressure! My fingers cannot flow as properly. Argh. Hang in there I hear pple say, I am I am.
I hate tarot cards. So ambiguous. Do this, no dun do this. Dun do this, no do this. Dance in circles, stick out your tongue and do the hokey pokey! Tarot cards... pfft.
I hate guys. Especially the jealous types. I walk along, smile and say hi to a fren and get stared at by her bf. As if saying 'Yo' will sweep her into my arms and we ride into the sunset.
I hate disney. Nah, kidding, love disney, that's why listening to a multitude of disney songs. They make me happy, they really do. Better than any soundtrack or band or group can ever do. Qusimodo's "out there" makes me crave freedom, Anatascia's "At the beginning" definitely makes me sing and harmonize along and Elton John's "Circle of life" evokes emotions in me I didn't know I had. Heh. Still kiddish and I apologize.

Song now: At the Beginning (Richard Marx and Donna Lewis) from Anastacia
Quote of the post:

i pray you'll be our eyes
and watch us where we go.
and help us to be wise
in times when we don't know

let this be our prayer
when we lose our way
lead us to the place
guide us with your grace
to a place where we'll be safe

i pray we'll find your light
and hold it in our hearts
when stars go out each night

let this be our prayer
when shadows fill our day
lead us to a place
guide us with your grace
give us faith so we'll be safe

we ask that life be kind
and watch us from above
we hope each soul will find
another soul to love

let this be our prayer
just like every child
need to find a place
guide us with your grace
give us faith so we'll be safe
