Has it been a good couple of days? Have I finally found some semblance of joy in my otherwise semi-sad life of mine?
Well, aint the happiest moments of my life but I did have a rather grand bit of fun recently. Take monday, which was yesterdae, for instance.
Had school, broke some fren barriers, received an extremely hard report to edit for my final assignment. Discovered how screwed i was for the second assignment. Really, I must do the two of them these next weeks so I might disappear for a bit.
Night came and I hurried down to Soft Belly, 367 Lt Bourke St, btwn Queen and Elizabeth St, which incidentally, was where my cousin had his 21st.
The girls were supposed to meet there for Shan's and Rathi's dinner. Or so I thought.
There was nobody at Soft Belly. Not a soul. Puzzled, I called them up and found out to my horror that there was a msg to meet at Ii Gamberio instead sent to everyone.
I didn't get a msg.
I had to go all the way back to Lygon. Far far away lygon. Far far FAR away lygon. Sigh
I got there with the good ole tram, and reached there, and had fun chatising pple, catching up and making fun at Shan's expense.
And for ur viewing pleasure:
Me and the birthday twin! Was glad she enjoyed my card. Cause i have no money to spend on her. I lie. I am a bastard.
From left: Rathi that ultra-stressed bday girl of indeterminable age, Manli decked in a gorgeous necklace, that twin once again and this beautiful boy that nobody can really resist now can they? I love that striped top!
Let's try this again
There we go! We are really pretty! So pretty! Like a rainbow in weed time!
Dinner done. We went home where I bunked with Derek.
Next day (today), had lunch with neth and nelly at curry place, then hopped over to Vic Mart to buy Nelly some nuts. Somehow she craved nuts. All those nuts without bananas.
Then I bought a couple of cds, a Handsome Boy Modelling School one, and an Accousitc Vol 3 mix. Both of which, I am glad to say, are satisfactically good. Hip hop and accoustic stuff... who could resist?
Went to the cinemas after that to watch Thank You For Smoking, which is an interestingly hilarious film about a spin doctor defending tobacco companies, while trying to remain a good role model to his son. Though the premise isnt too original, the style is definitely refreshing. It is funny, and you will laugh. The feel at the end is a little too nice, though it is an enjoyable ride to the finish. CAtch it!!!!!
ok, no more, fingers are tired.... seeyaaaa
