The mother of all thunders roared outside my window just now. It was the thunder of a God laughing, or shaking in suppressed rage. It came after the bolt of lightning Zeus would have cast down onto Earth without qualms. The thunder shook my walls, shook my floor. It made the ceilings rumble and the teeth rattle. It scared me.
