Firstly, my relatives cant do surprises for nuts. They are the anti-thesis of the "SURPRISE" scenerio. It doesn't really work out for them because of one major flaw - their ceaseless need to talk.
Maybe it ain't them. Put enough people in a small enough space, and the noise volume sorta goes up exponentially. Tell them to be quieter and they start speaking in conspiratoral whispers in hopes that will do it.
It doesn't.
Anywaes, this was for my mom's bday surprise after-dinner party. It was ok. Good food, nice presents (none for me.. .except cake) and a presentation on the television by my dad. It had photos, naked me, some words here and there, naked me, pictures of family and relatives and of course my favourite part: naked me.
I'm beautiful you see. After that was more food... and washing. Sigh... the washing. Too many dishes can break a man's spirit.
And speaking about spirit, I talked to a crazy woman today. I mean, it's 9.30am in the morning, I was not exactly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, and this woman comes up to me to order a book. What sort of book? One on the END OF THE WORLD. Yes, you heard me... the END OF THE WORLD, AMARGAEDDON, THE RAPTURE, stuff like that. And the woman started talking to me... about it. While a positively fun-inspiring subject, I couldn't help but shy away from the conversation. Especially after she started telling me she had END OF THE WORLD DREAMS. Yes, dreams of the END OF THE WORLD. Fire and brimstone stuff I'm sure. Not only that, she says there's a GROUP of them, who share their DREAMS, their END OF THE WORLD DREAMS. While I love dreaming, and have once dreamt of such a sight (comet smashing into the world), I don't really go and find kinship with others of the same lunacy as me. It's just a collective of crazy people.
And the best part? She asks why don't people just join the safe side.
Some links for you people.
The Fragile Machine Official Site is simply beautiful. I want the DVD NOW.
And this weird Mouse game which is very very addictive... and weird.
Finally, GROW RPG is something else altogether. If only it wasn't so frigging hard!
