So... tis been an eventful weekend with less than little sleep. That being said, Gong He Fatt Choi, Happy Chinese New Year, and May it rain wealth, prosperity and some form of happiness upon u.

So where was I. Ah yes, eventful weekend starting with Friday night CNY party at Ams place. Twas a sizzling day/night, of which much of it being spent at work. When that was over, I went to Ams place, bringing a fren along. Now, there I was, expecting the usual pple and roughly 10 individuals to show up. So imagine my surprise when about 20+++ pple showed up, crowding into Am's small living room. Luckily, food was ample as we always cook far too much, and the dessert was I suppose, just right. We had too few drinks, so had to buy some. Lidia makes a mean Midori mix and whoa, did I have a little too much that night.
But all in all, was great fun. Ate good food, drank, met new pple. Yepp, I love my girls. Always have. I'll get pics asap, but will have to wait for those foto whores to get the pics to me.
Suffice to say, I slept at 3am, after which -

- I had to get up at 7 on the Saturday for work, training to it and arriving far too early for my liking. Must learn to control the time. Ok, so was almost a zombie at work, and it didn't help that there were only 2 pple on that day as opposed to the usual 3. And becos of the heat, the place was packed. Customers wanting aircon and bought lots of stuff because of it. It would have been better if the aircon was working. Which was not. There was no aircon on that 38 degree day. And I was wearing long sleeves. Not a good combi trust me.

Ok, work done, went home (finally), then to relatives place for pre-cny dinner which included lots of food (again), some manner of drinking and socialising, and gambling. Gambling is fun. When u win. And that I did, when I had almost lost all that 3 dollars, I did an about turn and won 10. Go me. Helo Crown. And women, of which was talked and gossiped about with the relatives. Ah family.

Now comes the clincher. Dad booked a Karaoke Room. Yes. We karaoked at 11, the family and a cousin. WE entered a lounge near the Glen, and sang til 230pm. Parents didnt last. Sigh, talk about bravado. Slept, my frens at 3, at which -

- I had to get up at 8 to usher in the CNY festivities that included lots of tidbits, visiting of pple, more food, lunch, more pple and finally, a 2 hour siesta that I seized hold immediately. Vic came by later and we had another dinner. And dessert. Oh yum yum. I wonder how the tummy fits it all in.

Well, thats the weekend so far. Im still a trifle delirious, wat with food, lack of sleep and angbaos in the drawer. On the agenda tmw - going to uni to do my timetables, roam about b4 dinner with the store pple at KNOX. Sigh. Then tues its back to uni for some orientation stuff. Oodles of fun. And 38 degree heat.

Happy CNY good pple. Eat lots. You never know when u gotta starve.
