Well... it has been long hasnt it? Almost, might be, a whole week before a dreaded update. But it does happen, if in overdued and long doses.
So its been tennis week, with the nights involving grunts from both men and women filling the living room. Contrary to the wanting of sex, the grunts are from the wanton sport of tennis... so fret not.
Tennis is a good thing to watch. Esp the epics. Or the great fights. All thats been on my mind unfortunately.
Relatives popped by for dinner on Friday evening. Good food, if a trifle upsetting for the tummy. Moroccan chicken always does that. Anywaes, got made fun of (the nose thing) and chatted well while watching Safin duke it out with Roddick.
Showed off some of my pics as well, though dad was prepetuaing asking which one of the many bevies of beauties is my girlfren. I can only snort and laugh. *snort* *laugh*
Sat went to the city and stayed at Rayne's new place. Which is a very pretty place btw. All that expense does go to somewhere, ie. good views and a large space. The city life. Met up with Lid as well. Seems like she was a mutual fren between Rayne and me so imagine her surprise when i turned up as well. Was good seeing that girl again.
Then it was to a Morrocan (again!) restaurant for Jen's bday! Amidst a crowded (not even chairs) table, the sumptious food, the meeting of new and exotic pple and the voluptous belly dancer...mmmmmmmmm.....belly go uuuuuuupp.... it go doooown....
I had quite a bit of fun. Company was pretty good. Later that night was bowling at Strike Bar. That was expensive. 30 bucks for 2 games. As compared to Singapore's 5. Sigh. Played shit the first game... like shit. Didn't even touch 70. Played much better in the second round... but only did 90+ for that one. Sigh... at least I got some form back.
But twas a good bday. Had fun.
Sunday was interesting. Farewell picnic for Vic Sam which we thought was a small (at most 15 pple) gathering... Turned out it was a large event organized by Vic Sam's religious group and was hosting about 60 pple. WAs a little intimidated at that. Fun fun. Played some soccer after KFC... and that wasnt the best of ideas. While I did feel sick from the exercise (another reason why one SHOULDNT), I trudged with Matt, Stef and Derek to fren Gab's place to help her... pack. Another victim of the 'going back to KL' syndrome, though this time with much reluctance, Gab stopped her PHD to go back. So we helped to put things in order. Didn't really work. So dinnertime! And KARAOKE once again. AGAIN. Sigh. Goodbye voice... goodbye money (not as much as I thought) but helo songs i've always wanted to sing!!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!
Was a fitting end to the night. Or was it?
Went back to Rayne's place and found him playing a weird baseball game with this other fren. That does not mean they were rubbing bats and striking balls with each other. That does not mean I joined them in rubbing bats and striking balls with each other. In fact, twas an emulated Neo Geo game, ancient as hell, but quite fun to play. Works like a real baseball game so it was rather exciting and stressful. That took up the whole night. Contrary to belief, 3 men playing with bats and balls would take quite a loooong looooong while.
Alright, enough horrific images for you. Go... Leave me in peace. Go play ookami. Tis good.
So is this.
