I shall regale you the story of my photo frame. Yes lets, its an interesting story, full of mirth and to some degree, the breaking of hearts. Tragic yet... funny at the same time. Like the war in iraq.
So I was in the city shopping with a couple of gals. Then one of them wanted to get some fotos printed so we went to a nearby photo shop. I went to ask a sales assistant a qns, when my knee or pant leg caught the side of a beautiful wooden photo frame. There was no wobble, hardly a jiggle, but the truth was, the frame fell with a resounding 'clap'. All of us looked at the overturned frame with opened mouths. The sales pple went to take a look at while I apologized profusely. There was a scratch and chip on the frame. Small, but noticable.
After much deliberation, they said i had to buy it. Nobody else would. They sold it to me at cost price, $30, instead of the selling price of 60. Which was a bargain I think. I was in a daze actually. To think i actually damaged something. Almost unheard of!
So there I left, lugging this photo frame around town, subtly letting my fren know that if I had not followed her to do foto printing... I would have saved $30. Which could have gone to a whole myriad of items. But alas, fate had something else planned for me.
That's my story. In the evening, met with Peter to eat omurice, which we couldnt get. So we had BBNT instead. Really, 3 beef patties, bacon strips, cheese and onions and tomatoes between two toasted bread things. I couldn't sleep well the whole night.
But it was so good.
So damn good.
