The Mind Is A Dangerous Place

Things that should boggle the mind but do not

Ah yes, teppanyaki. A traditional eating custom originating from Japan. A consumption type for the rich and affluent involving flash-fried foods, twirling knives and pepper shakers, and flying rice. My Aunt's bday today. Boring day... ending with a scrumptious teppanyaki dinner in Burwood (or God knows where to you Zone oners)

Chef's name was Jerry, Malaysian and my Dad began his usual "Oh yeah I've been there" stuff. Typical dinner conversation ensued. Parlour tricks involving eggs and bowls... and the flinging. Oh the flinging. Egg pieces flying in the air where we, the faithful diner, had to catch this morsel in our mouths. These death-defying aerial acrobatics require skill, and a large mouth, of which I possess. Food and me... we have a... connection. The food knows where to go it seems.

Anywaes, some caught the food... some didn't... life goes on and the world keeps turning. Chicken came and consumed... then arrived the garlic fried rice. This new challenge involves bowl throwing and subsequent catching. Didn't do too well. Especially when the guy told me to go "long". DOORWAY LONG. 5 metre long. To catch bowls. I didn't do too well.
Rice wasnt so great either.

Been reading a comic called Hana Yori Dango... supposedly predessor (Spelling) to the famed... METEOR GARDEN. Which stars... the ever incredible and long-hair sporting... F4. Ugh. Comic's grand though. Ok.. tummyache... brb...

Ah... that felt better. And I don't feel like typing now. Bye.
